Delete Your CORTEX Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your CORTEX account, stored memory, and associated server-side data.
How To Request Deletion
- Open CORTEX and go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account if the in-app option is available.
- Or email privacy@cortexnode.ai from the email address on your CORTEX account with the subject line "Delete my CORTEX account".
- Include the account email and, if available, your CORTEX user ID. Do not send passwords, payment card data, or private family details.
What We Delete
- -Account profile records tied to the requested account
- -Server-side conversation memory and vault entries tied to the requested account
- -Stored OAuth tokens and connected-account records where applicable
- -CORTEX Babies website or checkout records tied to the account, except billing records we must retain
- -Device/session records that are no longer required for security or fraud prevention
What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained where required by law, billing providers, tax obligations, security investigations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or App Store/Stripe transaction records.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Stripe subscription. Cancel subscriptions through the provider shown at purchase.
Timeline
We aim to confirm deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law, security, billing, or dispute-resolution obligations.
